“Our timing with Rae as a postpartum doula was perhaps a little unconventional, we didn’t meet her or use her services until 6 or 7 weeks postpartum, because we had been in the NICU for 5 weeks, so I cannot speak to the immediate post-birth experience, but I have no doubt that would be as positive an encounter as the one we had with her. She helped take the load off and seemed very at ease with my twins (her first twin experience, though you wouldn’t know it), doing anything that helped me on a given day, whether it was just hanging with the girls so I could do some work, helping me with dishes and folding laundry, clipping tiny fingernails that I just didn’t always seem to get around to, or taking them on a walk. She is very compassionate and open minded, and in addition to all the help, was always very nice to talk to and I really enjoyed our conversations. For anyone going through the postpartum experience who feels they could use some extra help, support, and good company, I’d highly recommend reaching out to her”

“Rae was a huge help to our family after the birth of our daughter. She was so supportive, kind, and knowledgeable. I immediately felt comfortable around her. It was wonderful to be able to nap or take a shower and know that our daughter was in good hands. I would definitely recommend working with her”

“Rae was our postpartum doula after we welcomed our first baby. She was so helpful!! Whether I needed to talk and process, give baby a bath, or even take a nap, she was there as an experienced support. She answered all of our first time parent questions (when should the belly button stump come off?? Is this diaper rash and what do we do about it?) with compassion, experience, and without judgment. She helped us build confidence in ourselves as parents in those first few weeks. I would absolutely recommend her services!”

“Rae is naturally gentle and nurturing, and her guidance helped to ease those first few weeks of motherhood. She has so much comfort with and knowledge of newborns and their needs and was a calming presence for both me and my little one. She's also quick to lend an extra hand wherever needed. A true gift to new mothers!”
